Mercredi'Garenne:

 

La Garenne invite you to come one afternoon to discover its residents in the company of animal keepers and park naturalists.

• Minimum 5 children (to make the animation happen)

• Maximum 10 children (10 to 15 years old)

• 2 hours with a trainer

• 1 hour with a naturalist

• Schedule: approximately 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

• Price: CHF 50.- / per child (admissions included)

• Dates: March 13, April 17, May 15, June 12, July 17, August 14 et September 11.

Celebrate your birthday in the park:

​

La Garenne invite you to come and celebrate your birthday with your friends and family.

​

• 5 years old and over

• Maximum 15 children (oldest 15 years old) and 3 accompanying adults

• Reservation at least 2 weeks before

• Reservation of tables (in the cafeteria)

• Birthday cake, drinks and decorations

• Animation in the park about an animal of your choice (wolf, lynx, birds of prey, ...)

• Visit of the park (not guided)

• Group supervision by a biologist

• Education workshop in the Labo'Garenne about a selected theme

• Guided tour in the park

• Visit of the park (not guided)

• Approximately 1h30 and 2h

• Maximum 25 children

• Reservation at least 2 weeks before

• Group rate (6 to 15 years old; school, club, colony, ...): CHF 250.- (admissions included)

• Canton de Vaud class rate (6 to 15 years old; compulsory public school); CHF 150.- (entries included)

Day with the trainers:

​

For people who want to experience the daily work of caretakers behind the scenes at La Garenne. The participant can choose to work with the trainers or if he wants to just observe them.

Discovery of an animal:

 

For people who want exclusive support in the discovery of a park animal . The participant is greeted by a naturalist, then supervised by an animal trainer. He is brought to prepare food for the chosen animal and to feed it in his enclosure, accompanied by the healer. The naturalist then joins him for a guided tour of part of the park.

• The participant can be accompanied by a person of his choice for the guided tour part of the park.

• Duration 2 hours
